But when this happens to us we dont care and we take the action we can and move on no matter the gender. This isn’t a new problem in gaming and it doesn’t only happen to women. Other than punishing them nothing more can be done thats not going to be abused.
Yeah, I’ve had worse than this sure, but I just hate not being able to join team chat and enjoy the game because my voice is higher. I just wanted to know if there was more I could do. I’ve muted and reported those guys, the whole shabang. Mann Up costs money to play and I had been playing with this group for an HOUR before they kicked me since “girls can’t play with us.” We were in the final wave. I had actually stopped playing TF2 when I was kicked out of a Mann Up (basically Junk’s Revenge) game for talking in the chat asking for healing. When I talk in chat normally (not provoking anyone) I’ve been asked what kinds of underwear I like/am wearing, what my snapchat is, if I have a boyfriend, I’ve been blamed for losses even when I’m actively participating and helping my team and so on and so on. I’m not trying to promote anything here, I’m telling you what happened and want to know how I could take further action if that was possible. All it did was promote the companies who donated items and gained viewers/other possible means of income.
